Kitty donates proceeds from painting to gallery

Broughton artist Kitty North has donated the proceeds of one of her paintings to Skiptons Craven Museum and Art Gallery.

Kitty is currently exhibiting at the gallerys Contemporary Craven Christmas exhibition and her 5ft by 6ft oil painting on linen of Bolton Abbey was sold on the preview night.

Now Kitty has donated the entire proceeds, £4,500, to the museum and gallery, based in Skipton Town Hall.

"Craven Museum and Gallery has done fantastic work with schools and the college to promote the arts, heritage and culture in the community", said Kitty.
